BoBunny ~ On This Day ~ Day Timer
Good Morning! Today I would like to share with you a quick Day Timer made with the BoBunny ~ On This Day Collection.
This was made for my sister Shelley and she loves all things Teal and Bling!
I used an 8" x 9" binder for the daytimer as she will be opening and closing it several times a day. I found last year that a handmade binder just didn't hold up quite the way I had hoped. The Tim Holtz Mixed Media Binder would be a perfect choice for this project. I also applied bling up the sides and used Wink of Stella on all the arrow tags.
Inside the front cover I have added an envelope with metal flowers for closures. To the right is the front of the flip out for January. Here I have made a cut in the patterned paper to slip the note pad into so it can be moved from month to month or replaced if she runs out of note paper. I also used a simple Martha Stewart edger along the left side of the page.
This is the inside view when flip out is opened. On the left is the calendar cutout from the 12"x12" paper. There is also a fussy cut from the 6"x6" paper pad at the top. Under the calendar is a pocket to hold those all important notes, receipts, etc., a daily appointment sheet for each week of the month and a quote saying. I fussy cut one of the quotes and mounted it with foam squares onto it's matching piece. On the right side is the Note cut-apart from the 12"x12" sheet. On this I have mounted a few of the cut-aparts. All the images and cut-aparts have been lavishly covered in Wink Of Stella - Clear to add a little extra sparkle.
This is the back of the first page and front of the second page. February is on the left and March is on the right. Again I cut a slit in the patterned paper and inserted note pads into each side. I have also added cut-aparts from the paper underneath just for a little eye candy when the note pads are removed. Also the edges of both sides are punched with the Martha Stewart edge punch.
Once the flip outs are opened you see that again I have completed these exactly as the first page. I kept this simple layout theme as my sister will be using this at work and will not be doing any personalized journaling. Again a lot of the smaller cut-aparts have been fussy cut and layered with glue dots and foam squares for dimension and Wink of Stella - Clear.
A Note - Between the Jan/Feb page there is a large pocket for extra storage as well. All the other months were completed exactly as these ones.
I hope you have enjoyed a look at my latest creation. Hopefully there will be a tutorial to follow on my youtube channel in the very near future :)
Thank you for stopping by!
